FOR GOODS WAGONS
Railway logistics is under great pressure from rationalisation. Logistics and maintenance processes are, however, for the most part still dependent on information that is generated and distributed manually.
Goods wagons equipped with autonomous asto telematics systems deliver the required information for the successful digitalisation of asset management processes. A special ATEX version allows the telematics equipment to be operated even in Zone 1 explosion-risk areas.

The requirements of the cargo sector are continually increasing where the punctuality, transparency, and safety of freight transport is concerned. Shipment tracking has long evolved from an additional service to a crucial one, as today’s production and delivery chains expect reliable real-time data.
The asto telematics systems, which are mounted invisibly on the containers, enable the monitoring of the shipment over a period of 4 to 8 years with their maintenance-free battery. A special ATEX version allows the telematics equipment to be operated even in Zone 1 explosion-risk areas.
